Laneige’s leave-on Lip Sleeping Mask is already a cult-favourite, which means you’ve probably already tried (and loved) it. But you don’t have the hydrating and nourishing product in its summer-y flavour: Mango. The limited-edition balm does exactly what you expect—namely lock in intense moisture and protects against external aggressors—thanks to ingredients like vitamin C, shea butter, coconut oil and a soothing berry fruit complex. Say cheese.

Get experimental with Ilia’s Liquid Powder Eye Tint. The weightless cream-to-powder eyeshadow is now available in 10 new shades (eight pretty mattes and two stand-out chromatic additions) that dry down into a long-lasting, smudge-resistant finish. Pat down to go bold, or blend the impressive pigment out for a more subtle—but still striking—look.

For its latest launch, Polypeptide-121 Future Cream, California skincare brand Youth to the People got really innovative. The star ingredient is the eponymous polypeptide-121, a first-of-its-kind bio-designed vegan peptide chain (a.k.a. a group of linked amino acids) containing over 180 amino acids that match up to a sequence found in skin-strengthening collagen—which we naturally produce less of as we age. The result is fuller, firmer, stronger skin with the reduced appearance of wrinkles. Also found in the lightweight cream is barrier-boosting ceramides and hydrating hyaluronic acid and squalene.

Fuller brows and lashes are just a swipe away with the Embryolisse Lashes and Brows Booster. The colourless, fragrance-free formula contains ingredients like castor oil and centella asiatica extract to strengthen hairs, encourage growth and reduce loss. Use it as a base under makeup or on its own whenever you want—it’s sensitive-eye friendly, too.

Make Up For Ever’s Rouge Artist For Ever Matte liquid lipstick promises a smooth, transfer-proof finish that will last for 24 hours. Best of all, the waterproof formula, which is available in 10, highly pigmented rosy shades, is infused with an oil blend that the brand claims is so comfortable, it’s almost like you have nothing on your lips. Yes, please.

By now, we all know that Vitamin C is one of skincare’s most coveted ingredients, helping to protect against damage, reduce the appearance of dark spots and deliver a radiant glow. That’s why The Body Shop has launched an entire line centred around the antioxidant. The star is the new Vitamin C Glow Revealing Serum, which is packed with 10 percent vitamin C (the brand’s highest concentration) and retinol alternative bakuchiol, but you’ll also find a vitamin C-infused concealer,  moisturizer, overnight mask and cleanser.

You’ve seen it on TikTok. Now is your chance to get it in Canada. YSL’s high-tech Rouge Sur Mesure device lets you custom make your very own YSL Beauty lip colour in the brand’s beloved creamy and velvety formula right at home. Simply follow the instructions on the corresponding app and use the added trio of formula cartridges (available in different red, nude, orange and fuschia shade combos at an extra charge) to make your version of over 1,000 shades. Happy experimenting.

Toronto-based Wildcraft wants to make your skincare routine easier from start to finish. The brand has taken its popular all-natural products and packaged them into five different kits (each containing five products) that aim to treat different skin types and simply your regimen. There’s a calming set for sensitive types, a blemish-fighting oily set, a balancing kit for combination to dry skin, a hydrating set for dry and dehydrated skin and a repairing and supporting pack for those combo to oily types.

Tinted lip balm is having a moment, which makes the arrival of Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in limited-edition shade Poppy perfectly timed. The vegan formula contains a blend of hydrating shea and murumuru butters to moisturize and soothe dry lips, while imparting a subtle citrus scent and flavour (look out for mandarin, grapefruit, orange and tangerine) and a sheer coral hue.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Goop are coming for our shelves yet again. The new Goopglow Dark Spot Exfoliating Sleep Milk is an overnight treatment formulated with exfoliating glycolic and lactic acids, soothing desert milk, hydrating squalane and dark spot-fighting piperonyl glucose to minmize the look of pores, refine and resurface skin texture and nourish your skin barrier while you catch some Zs. How’s that for beauty sleep?

Essence’s Lash Princess Mascara is a budget-friendly drugstore fave, and now it has a matching eyeliner to go with it. Available in black and waterproof black formulas, the Essence Lash Princess Liner delivers intense pigment for a delicious pop of drama (but you can go more subtle thanks to the conical felt tip) that is both long-lasting and smudge-proof.

Get mauve-y this summer with Tower 28. The California brand dropped two must-try shades for its best-selling lip jelly and tinted balm products. The ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly ($19)—a moisturizing gloss formulated with a blend of five soothing oils—gets the semi-sheer, milky nude “Sesame,” while the BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm (for use on lips and cheeks) gets a second-skin finish with the sun-kissed “Office Hours.”

If you’ve ditched retinol for plant alternative bakuchiol, you’re going to want to try the latest from Herbivore. Moon Dew 1% Bakuchiol + Peptides Retinol Alternative Eye Cream targets fine lines while tightening and smoothing the eye area. The hydrating cream is also formulated with quinoa plant peptides, which are said to reduce puffiness—which is especially useful for those early morning meetings.

Take your manicure game to the next level with the newest shades of Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel Top Coats. Inspired by the brand’s classic long-wear, lamp-free gel top coat nail polish, the three additions—a holographic crystal, a candy-coated texture and a unicorn-inspired opalescent—will create an Instagrammable nail look worth obsessing over.

There’s no denying Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb is iconic—it’s why the brand hasn’t followed up the fragrance with something new. Until now, that is. It took almost a decade and more than 3,500 trials to develop Good Fortune Eau de Parfum, a sweet and floral scent bursting with fresh notes of jasmine grandiflorum, Madagascar bourbon vanilla and fennel-gentian flower extract. Housed in a stunning purple stone-capped refillable bottle, the brand hopes the fragrance helps wearers connect to their spiritual sides.

Glossy lips are a major trend this season, and it’s quite possible that you can’t get glossier than Kylie Cosmetics Gloss Drip. The limited-edition product glides over lips for a juicy, mirror-like finish that’s comfortable to wear and not sticky. Available in three summer-y shades, wear it on its own or over lipstick.

After experiencing the stress of a fast-paced career as a TV producer, Beth Shuman was inspired to launch her Toronto-based brand 8 Faces to help those with similar, short-on-time lifestyles find easy-to-use yet effective skincare products. Its latest is the Brilliance Serum, a facial serum infused with ingredients like rosehip oil, lotus flower extract and squalene that brightens, plumps and repairs skin.

Meet Ember Wellness, a women-led, Toronto-based brand founded by Amanda Schuler, co-founder of trendy Canadian furniture and design spots Gus* Modern and Style Garage. Super passionate about natural beauty and wellness, Schuler left her company in 2020 to work in that space hoping to help others feel more confident in their own skin, and that brand is finally here. The launch includes five cold-pressed facial oils (all made with organic ingredients including jojoba and grape seed), five complementary floral facial mists and array of accessories like amethyst gua sha tools, a facial cupping set and a light therapy mask.

Sensitive fragrance? Fret not. Eco-conscious brand The Unscented Company’s has expanded further into body care with an all-natural deodorant that is completely fragrance free. As it turns out, added fragrances aren’t necessary for masking odour with this glidable deo: It’s formulated with probiotic lactobacilli (which helps balance the “good” and “bad” bacteria that naturally occur under our arms), moisturizing shea butter and arrowroot powder, which is supposed to help keep pits dry when you really need it.

You deserve a little pampering. Omorovicza’s new Queen Essence is the perfect way to indulge. Apply the aromatic, silky liquid—formulated with ingredients like ultra-hydrating snow mushroom, antioxidant-rich tomato stem cells and the brand’s patented collagen-boosting healing concentrate—after cleansing to protect skin and encourage better absorption of serums and moisturizer.
